On Tuesday, January 24th the Boys C-squad Bulldogs played the Boulder Panthers.  At half-time the score was 21-17 with the Bulldogs ahead.   The game ended with our Bulldogs winning 44-37.

Our leading scorer for the night was Kenny Wilbur with 21 points.  Along with those points he also had four rebounds and seven steals.  Next in line were Bryce Green and Braden Hatfield, both with eight points.  Bryce Green also led in steals with eight, assists with four, and rebounds with six.  Nick Hill also helped out the team with four points, two assists, and one steal.  Devinn Regan ended the game with three rebounds, three assists, and one steal.  Overall the team shot 43% of their 2-point shots and 36% of their free throws.

Coach Watson said, “The boys made great decisions on the offensive end of the court.  Our defense, however, turned out to be our best offense.  Kenny went 10 out of 14 from the field.  Bryce Green had eight steals, six boards, and four assists.”

On Friday, January 27 the Park County Rangers came to Townsend, and our C-squad boys showed them a good game.   At half-time the Bulldogs were leading with 30 points while they held the Rangers to 10. In the third quarter we only allowed the Rangers to score two points.  In the end the Bulldogs came out victorious with a remarkable score of 56 Bulldogs, 21 Rangers.

Kenny Wilbur had thirteen points, leading the score board.  Not far behind him was Devinn Regan with ten points.  Devin Gustovitch and Nick Hill both scored eight points.  Next were Braden Hatfield with five and Kolin Snyder with four points.  Rounding it out was Bryce Green and Justin Henderson each with three points and Reagan Manion with two. Rebound leaders in this game were Bryce Green with seven, Kenny Wilbur, Devinn Regan, and Braden Hatfield with six each.  Bryce Green also led in assists with six and steals with ten.  Justin Henderson and Braden Hatfield both had two assists a piece and Devinn Regan finished the game with seven steals.

“Our defense pretty much smothered the Livingston rangers,” said Coach Clint Watson.  “We consequently shot a lot of layups.  Once again Bryce Green led the steals with ten and quickly possessed the ball ahead for the assist to many of his teammates.  Devinn Regan has been showing a lot of improvement in his rebounding and his defense.”

This week the C-squad Bulldogs play the Three Forks Wolves on Saturday February 4th in Three Forks.  Come out and support your Bulldogs!
