Trinity placed third at the State Wrestling Championships. Three Shamrocks won crowns: John Fahy (138), Brent Hitchings (160) and Bobby Bryant (195).
Fahy became only the sixth Kentucky high school wrestler to win four state titles. Fahy has not lost to a Kentucky wrestler.
